To the team at Pryde’s,

Our first competition for March was the Premier Floats Victorian Championships which was held at Teesdale. Brett Hickey of Premier Floats yet again ran a wonderful show with great courses and many interstate competitors. Cavalli Park Annibell had her first start in a Futurity and jumped double clear to finish in 5th place. Animate jumped well in the Victorian Championship A&B grade and finished 8th. We were really pleased with KS Dash as he stepped up to start in the 1.25m and just had one fence down and just had one down in the jump off of the D grade Championship. Congratulations to Kristry Bruhn for winning the VIC Championships!

The other main show for March was the prestigious Dressage and Jumping with the Stars. We had KS Dash and Cavalli Park Annibell in the 6 year old class and Animate in the Current Stars sections. Annibell was 3rd, 4th and 3rd in each class finishing 3rd overall and Dash was 7th, 5th and 7th in each class finishing 7th overall. Animate placed 2nd , 3rd and 6th in each class and also won the leading stallion prize for the show. It is a great event to showcase the ever improving breeding of jumping horses in Australia. Congratulations to Caroline Price for winning the 4 year old section on Forever and placing on Vengence who both had part of their early training done by Paul at Cavalli Park.

We have also just completed our arena and had it surfaced. It is draining really well and is it so lovely to ride on such a big arena, we now have a full course set up with some new jumps and liverpool (photos below).
