Riding Disciplines

Just jumping  these days, life has got too busy, but we produce horses for all Olympic disciplines at Finch Farm.

Coach(es)

Many coaches over the years I've spent time with Kathy Kusner, Peter Luther, George Morris, Albert Voorn and recently Alison Rowland has been helping out at Finch Farm.  I really enjoy learning more each day about horses and our sport so I read and study a lot.

Horses

Many many horses over 200 on the property 4 competition stallions and around 30 other competition horses and all the different young ones coming through.

Breed(s)

We breed with warm blood stallions from around the world. but I really do like having a big splash of thoroughbred I'm quite proud of our Australian heritage and what our horses have achieved down under. I'm up too 5 generations on some of the horses I've bred so it is really interesting to see the different lines evolve.

What do you feed?

We feed Bio Mare, Easi Response, Easi Sport, Easi Fibre, and I'm so happy with the results we are getting and how the horses are looking and performing.

What do you require from your horse feed?

I have so many different things that I require for so many different horses  from young ones too older broodmare as well as the competition horses with all different personalities and body types. Its easy with Prydes Easi feeds and their support to work out a diet for each horse that isn't complicated.

Special care and management considerations of your horse(s)

I've invested heavily into the production of sport horses so the Prydes feeding system is important to Finch Farm along with this we surround ourselves with great vets, horse physio's, farriers, outside coaches

Special highlight(s) in your riding career

I've been fortunate to travel the world, I've ridden in Europe, Asia and America which helped me with my passion to produce a functional sport horse in Australia that reared and produced well enough  to perform on the world stage. I've also been lucky enough to have been blessed with some wonderful horses that have given me Grand Prix wins and World Cup placings.
